These are some of the funniest news bloopers that I have come across in my reading.

Some people make mistakes when they speak, and reporters are not immune to this. Sometimes a reporter may misspeak or mispronounce a word, but sometimes the mistake can be so funny that it goes viral.

A recent example of this was when a news reporter on KTVA in Anchorage, Alaska, mistook an adult toy for a weapon. The reporter was discussing the dangers of leaving your car running and unattended when he spotted what he thought was a rifle on the back seat of the car. It turned out to be an adult toy, but not before he had alerted police to what he believed to be an armed threat.
