Movies Shows Behind the Scenes

Extraordinary things happen every day on film sets. Directors also want additional footage of their films to be used for advertising purposes. They will wish to interviews to highlight their actors. Often, to cover funny moments, unforeseen cast interactions or to catch all the action and issues along the way, they want to document the creative process throughout. Film viewers have a distinct outlook. It’s inside the videos behind the scenes where we get to see the actors we love doing stuff we wouldn’t usually see. It’s also one way to make the memory of the original film last a little longer. Here are five beautiful videos of some of the greatest movies ever made:

Lord of the Rings

Behind the scenes, Cameras in Middle Earth is a fabulous look at anything that influenced filming locally for different parts of the Lord of the Rings. In all kinds of visual trivia, improvisation, dancing and singing, Director Peter Jackson invites the audience, and the main character actors often tell their stories. Producers, cast and crew address the joys and challenges associated with filming in New Zealand during all types of poor weather for a very, very long duration. One day, the collection was visited by Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to ascend Mt. Everest, and that part is a treasure to watch. Both the jokes and the pranks are so.

Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park’s Making brings audiences straight into the enchantment that filled this film. Director Steven Spielberg outlines his views on honouring dinosaur life. This video, hosted by James Earl Jones, has it all. The secrets of how Spielberg and his special effects team did it are shown. Spielberg took three years to develop new technology and put current technologies into an entirely new era of film making. The primary aim was to bring the dinosaurs back to life so that they could become a reality. It was a difficult job, and the world wanted to see dinosaurs come to life. This video explains how it was done.

Back to the Future

In this video, The Secrets of the Trilogy features Kirk Cameron as the host of all the Back to the Future films. To make the film, all kinds of old-fashioned movie tricks, high-tech and low-tech special effects, and loads of brand new technology were used. Industrial cranes, imaginative camera rigs, physical effects and optical effect variations are all seen. To create some segments, Director Robert Zemeckis used every product “known to man.” Michael J. Fox adds portions of his interview describing what he felt about it. To please the most intense tech enthusiasts is a mind-boggling revelation.

The Revenant

A World Unseen is a documentary made by 20th Century Fox to explore the film’s specific ties between the author, the filmmakers, and the actors. It’s a heady, gripping and introspective film about Leonard DiCaprio’s critically acclaimed movie. Anyone who has seen the film would enjoy hearing the most private thoughts of Director Alejandro Inarritu about the creative inspirations, artistic ideals and personal observations he has about the film.

With commentary provided by Alejandro and the members of the cast, these Behind the Scenes Featurettes include shorter, intriguing clips from the film and the shooting process.

Titanic

With these revealing scenes caught on the Titanic set, there’s nothing expected. These are short excerpts with bits of intriguing details about the film-making process. For big Titanic fans, they’re great, although their short lengths can make some viewers want more. They record the enormity of this epic story being filmed.

The Shining

When Stanley Kubrick’s film The Shining was first aired in 1980, people who saw it were appropriately horrified. It’s what the movie was supposed to do. This video provides rare footage of Jack Nicholson practising his lines between takes, Stanley Kubrick typing on a manual typewriter and exploring unconventional camera angles. Shelley Duvall learned how to apply her makeup, and Nicholson was taking his terrifying character to extremes. This classic movie hasn’t lost its scare factor. Seeing the critical members of the production describing all sorts of intimate details of the creative process for this nail-biter is a bit eerie all on its own. Re-visiting the sets and hearing the stress-inducing soundtrack once more is pretty spectacular.
